Dance Crews Take the Fight to Asian Battleground 2015!

13 elite dance crews from 12 Asian regions are bringing artistry and technique to Asia’s biggest street dance championships.
Now in its second year, Asian Battleground is raising the bar with more regional auditions while maintaining the familiar format of its predecessor, Astro Battleground. The production team cast its net far and wide to Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand and Taiwan to assemble the best street dancers for the ultimate face-off. With the support of co-organizers in Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia, China and Singapore, 11 out of 200 crews were invited to bring their dance moves to Malaysia and take on the Astro Battleground 2015 champions (Kidiotics) and the first runners-up (Death Notz).
The competition is divided into three rounds. Each team will perform their own choreography in the first round. The four highest-scoring teams will qualify for the next round, with the top crew winning the “Best Choreography” award. Round two is a four-way battle to garner the votes that will send the top two crews into the final round where they will compete for the coveted Asian Battleground title.
