Dr. N. Rajam and family - Raga Madhuvanti on violin
One of the world's finest musicians, legendary violin virtuoso Padmabhushan Dr. Mrs. N. Rajam, her magical fingers enchant the tuneful strings of the violin to create a divine and sublime atmosphere. She is the recipient of three of the highest civilian honours of the government of India: Padma Bhushan, Sangeet Natak Acadami, and Padma Shri.
Dr. Rajam is joined here by her world-renowned daughter, Grammy award nominee and maestro of repute, Dr. Sangeeta Shankar, and her very talented daughters Ragini Shankar and Nandini Shankar. Together they are rendering raga Madhuvanti, creating an unforgettable experience, transporting the audience to heavenly bliss through the eternal music of nature. They are accompanied on tabla by Vinayak Netke.
