Elton’s October 31st 1978 appearance on the BBC TV music revue showed him in a relaxed mood and wardrobe as he performed solo at the Steinway. This primarily instrumental song (Elton chants “Life isn’t everything” at the end) peaked at #4 in the UK when it was issued as the second single from his 12th studio album, A Single Man. It become his highest-charting single in his home country between 1977-1982.
