12 Davide Marinacci born in 1966,he has been studying tenor saxophone since he was 17.He started his studies with master Baldo Maestri at Licinio Refice conservatorio. He continued his research with teachers like A.Santoloci, E.Colombo and Francesco Santucci. He worked as musician and arranger with several Jazz band from Rome like the Gianni Oddi 's one. He also collaborated with artists like Javier Girotto, Gianni Savelli e Rosario Giuliani.

Francesco Merenda was born in Mesagne on the 16th of April 1987 and began his musical studies when he was 6 years old playing the clarinet. He gives up it soon to take up studying the drums with Fredy Malfi in Brindisi. He keeps on at the Conservatory N.Rota in Monopoli attending the class of percussion instruments with Maestro Filippo Lattanzi, taking his degree in theory and solfeggio with full marks and in private with Mimmo Campanale. In the meanwhile he develops considerable expertise in both the classical and modern field, cooperating with the Conservatory Orchestra and many big bands. After getting his diploma at the "Percentomusica" in Rome, studying with D. Pettirossi, S. Corazza, L. Tucci, F Sferra, C. Micalizzi and Massimo Carrano, attends the high jazz specialization course with Ramberto Ciammarughi.16
Then he follows many seminars and Masterclasses: : Peter Erskine, Gene Jackson, Jack Dejhonette, Dave Weckl, Virgil Donati, Marco Minneman, Dennis Chambers, Jojo Mayer, Gregg Bissonette Giacomo Castellano, Giovanni Tommaso, John Taylor, Pat Martino, Miroslav Vithous, Adam Rogers etc.
Afterwards he cooperates with: : Amalia Grè, Tony Esposito, Rossana Casale, Dan Moretti, Luca Nostro, Lily Lathueru, Alex Massari, Sade Mangiaracina, Renzo Di Mola, Giacomo Caliolo,Saverio Lucarelli & Double Shuffle Band,Andy Pietropaolo,Gianluca Figliola, Nico Albanese, Roberto De Leonardis, Primiano Di Biase, Fabrizio Guarino and Ettore Papadia.
Among his theatrical cooperations, stands out the name of the choreographer Cesari Vangeli in the occasion of the 15th Edition of the Tip tap Show ( Sistina theatre).
He has been given a prize during the European days of the Art in 2008 for his high cultural and artistic contribution from the municipal district of Carovingio (BR).
He has performed in lots jazz clubs and Roman Festivals like Alexander Platz, Villa Celimontana, Casa del Jazz, Be Bop.
In 2007 he wins a scholarship for the course Rock's Cool at Saint Louis Music Center in Rome and follows the Jazz's Cool course where he improves his skill with Gene Jackson, G.Mazzarino, G.Renzi, A.Mazzoletti.
In 2008 he attends the Summer Clinic at Umbria Jazz followed by Ron Savage, Russel Hoffman, Oscar Stagnaro.
In July 2010 he records the drums for the record "Wake Up and Dream" for Rossana Casale in the Musical "Svegliati e Sogna".
He is currently improving his latin-jazz knowledge with Israel Varela for whom he takes the place in different projects and is also working hard together with jazz, fusion and Pop-Funk bands.

After playing electric bass mainly in rock bands from age 14, he later switched to the double bass due to love for jazz. He studied with various bass players and educators like Pietro Leveratto, Furio Di Castri, Bruno Raberg, Giovanni Tommaso, Scott Colley, Gianluca Renzi. He attended numerous seminars such as Umbria Jazz, Siena Jazz, Roma Jazz's Cool and Viggiano Jazz.
