In Mad Clown's 3rd mini album 'Piece of Mind', he is still 'vicious' and 'funny'. With his previous songs such as 'Without You' or 'Stupid in Love', Mad Clown tried to appeal to public. However, this album shows Mad Clown's own style in its topic selection, use of materials, and the way story developed.
'Am I the crazy one or you? I'm the crazy one because I couldn't leave you.' With the exciting beat, the title song, 'Fire' describes a bad break up. While a guy reveals his miserableness inside, he appears cruel outwardly as he tries to leave everything behind a break up. Jinsil from Mad Soulchild's voice shows that she is the perfect cast to show a girl's lingering feelings that are hard to figure out.

Mad Clownの3枚目のミニアルバム『Piece of Mine』の中のMad Clownは、相変わらずとげとげしくておどけている。「我慢できる」、「優しすぎる」など、前作で聴かせてくれた曲が大衆化システムに安着する過程だったなら、今回のアルバムはテーマ選びから素材活用、ストーリー展開まで、ようやくMad Clownのスタイルになったことを見せている
‘僕が狂ったのか 君が狂ったのか 狂った君から離れない僕が狂ったんだろう’。滑稽な興奮を盛り込んだビートの中でタイトル曲「Ｆｉｒｅ」のすべてのラップはひどい別れをそのまま描き出している。立ち去ろうともがく別れの前で男は表面では残酷に、心の中ではすさまじく崩れた心境を表す。ここにフィーチャリングボーカルを引き受けたMadSoul Childのジンシルの音色は、わかるようでわからない女性の未練を表現するのに十分な、理想的なキャスティングだ。
매드클라운의 3번째 미니앨범 'Piece of Mine’ 속 매드클라운은 여전히 ‘표독'스럽고, 여전히 ‘익살'스럽다. ‘견딜만해’ ‘착해빠졌어’ 등 전작에서 들려준 곡들이 대중화 시스템에 안착하는 과정이었다면, 이번 앨범은 주제선정부터 소재활용, 스토리전개까지 비로소 매드클라운만의 스타일이 되었음을 알린다.
‘내가 미친건지 니가 미친건지 미친 너를 못 떠난 내가 미친거지.’ 익살스러운 흥분을 담은 비트 안에서 타이틀곡 ‘화’의 모든 랩은 지독한 이별을 고스란히 그려내고 있다. 떠나려고 발버둥치는 이별 앞에서 남자는 겉으로 잔인하게, 속으로는 처절하게 무너진 심경을 드러낸다. 여기에 피처링 보컬을 맡은 매드소울차일드 진실의 음색은 알듯 말듯한 여자의 미련을 표현하기에 충분한, 이상적인 캐스팅이다.
