3rd in a series of classic music videos showcasing music I composed from the late 90's to the mid 2000's, Water Under the Bridge was one of the first scores I composed which integrated my brand new Roland JV-1080 with the Orchestral II expansion board, back in 2000. It sort of borrowed some ideas from Space Station #9, but is definitely a lot more new age like, and has a more uptempo feeling to it. The year before I composed this track, in September of 1999, the remnant of Hurricane Floyd passed through my area, deluging the Schuylkill River basin with several inches of rain. This caused the river to swell and flood greatly in the Fairmount Park section of Philadelphia. at 3:10 in the video, until about 3:30 are 3 shots I took of a tree that became wedge length-wise between the stone arches of the old train bridge that crosses the river. This image was the inspiration for the name of this track and the now discontinued album of the same name.
