Singapore was in the direct path of the Annular Solar Eclipse on December 26, 2019. Armed with Solar filters and spectacles, I recorded the phenomenon on video together with a good friend, Maideen Abdul Kadir. The cloud cover was thick at the height of the eclipse and I struggled to remove the 2 layers of filters as quickly as I could without moving the camera position. Otherwise the Ring of Fire couldn't be recorded. A flock of migratory Asian Openbill Storks flew across the the eclipse and I managed to record it. It was a good outing.
