Beethoven's "Tempest" sonata complements the program of the Beethoven album by Martha Argerich and Theodosia Ntokou. Discover here: https://w.lnk.to/anbLY

The sonata was composed in the earliest years of the 19th century, probably in 1802, and only acquired its nickname after Beethoven’s death, reputedly because he had once implied a link with Shakespeare’s play The Tempest. "It is one of my favorite sonatas," says Theodosia Ntokou. "It has passion, energy, and fire – close to my own personality."
