As Alexandre told Le Monde in 2018: "Music goes further than words. It takes us by surprise, connecting us to distant, unconscious emotions that cause something to explode within us, whether we are musicians or listeners. … When there is nothing more I can say, when I can’t speak, I go to the piano. It is my language. That is my reason for being a pianist."
