Batohiya is love story based under a small village background. The main plot of movie says that a village livelihood is much different than a normal city or outside a village vicinity living. Even though our country is Independant many traditional, out bound rities and rituals still grips the village living people.Thus,it shows that if someone loves and wants to marry that person he/she has to face a lot of criticism and they are indeed considered a medium of cult and guilt. Thus, the story revolves with three characters- one who loves the person of her life, other who doesn't wants to spoil the name of their family members as they are opposed to the marriage and other who is forcibly being married.
