Jean-Baptise Breval spent his entire working life in Paris. A pupil of Francois Cupis {1735 - 1810} and Martin Berteau. A performer and dedicated teacher, he mostly wrote works for his own instrument and pupils. Other compositions include chamber music, symphonies and one opera.
He was also a member of various orchestras for periods of time.
