Dreaming of tomorrow's crown, C-CLOWN is releasing their debut album on July 19th, 2012.
C-CLOWN is short for "Crown Clown", implying their determination and desire of the young members to become the crowned king of k-pop with the best music and performance.

The second track [SOLO] is the title song of the album.
Written by the composer Rado -- who produced the entire album -- and composers Ji-In and Won-Taek, it sings of the sorrow of a man who has heard the last words of goodbye. Unlike the standardized hook phrases and electric sounds prevalent in today's idol music, it focuses on analogue emotions. 2012年7月19日、明日の王冠を夢見るC-CLOWNがデビューアルバムを発表する。
[C-CLOWN]は、'Crown Clown'の略で、'Crown'は王冠、王位を、'Clown'はピエロ、道化師を意味する。今はピエロである6人のメンバーが最高の音楽とパフォーマンスで、今後歌謡界で王冠をかぶった王様つまり、最高になりたいという意志と抱負を込めている。

タイトル曲は2番目のトラックの「SOLO」。
アルバムの総括プロデューサーを務めた作曲家ラドと作曲家ジイン、ウォンテクが共に作った曲で、別れの言葉を聞かされた男の切ない気持ちを歌った。 Hookと機械音が主な最近の定型化されたアイドル音楽から脱皮して、アナログ的な感性を盛り込もうとに努力した。複雑で刺激的ではない、３回聞くだけで主要なメロディーが歌えるくらい、洗練された大衆的なメロディーラインが特徴だ。

2012년 7월 19일, 내일의 왕관을 꿈꾸는 C-CLOWN이 데뷔앨범을 발표한다.
'C-CLOWN'은 'Crown Clown'의 약자로, 'Crown'은 왕관, 왕위, 'Clown'은 광대, 어릿광대 같은 사람을 뜻한다. 즉, 지금은 어릿광대인 여섯 멤버가 최고의 음악과 퍼포먼스로 앞으로 가요계에서 왕관을 쓴 왕, 최고가 되고 싶다는 의지와 포부를 담고 있다.

타이틀 곡은 두 번째 트랙에 실린, [SOLO].
앨범의 총 프로듀서를 맡은 작곡가 '라도'와 작곡가 '지인', '원택'이 함께 만든곡으로, 이별의 말을 들은 남자의 애절한 마음을 노래했다. Hook와 기계음이 대세인 요즘의 정형화된 아이돌 음악을 탈피해 아날로그적인 감성을 담는 데에 주력했으며, 세 번만 들으면 어느새 주요 멜로디를 따라 부를 수 있게 될정도로 자극적이거나 복잡하지 않으면서 세련되고 대중적인 멜로디 라인이 특징적이다.
