On his album dedicated to Rachmaninov, Dong Hyek Lim is joined by the great Martha Argerich in the composer’s two-piano transcription of his last major work, the enthralling and enigmatic Symphonic Dances. Listen: https://w.lnk.to/limrachmaninovLY

Lim’s credentials in Russian music are rooted in the formative period he spent in Moscow as a young student at the Central School of Music and then the Conservatory. In 2002, when he was just 18 years old, Martha Argerich introduced him to the world with an album in the series ‘Martha Argerich Presents’ (released at the time on EMI Classics).

In addition to this Symphonic Dances duo, the album also features Lim in the role of soloist with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Alexander Vedernikov in Rachmaninov's much-loved Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor. Releases internationally on September 13!
