DYNAMIC (label) - Classical music & opera recordings

Dynamic is an independent Italian recording company and content producer with its headquarters in Genoa.

Its production embraces the entire field of classical music, but focuses chiefly on the immense heritage of Italian and European music of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries especially opera and violin works.
Dynamic favours compositions in world-première recording or works that usually are not included in traditional repertoires.

Known since 1978 all over the world as the first recording company to have reappraised Nicolò Paganini, in the last few years Dynamic has recorded rare titles by Verdi, Donizetti, Pacini, Massenet, Meyerbeer and Tchaikovsky.

Many artists of international fame have recorded under the Dynamic label: Massimo Quarta, Salvatore Accardo, I Musici, Martha Argerich, Philippe Jaroussky, Felix Ayo, Stefan Milenkovich, Ruggiero Ricci, Luigi Alberto Bianchi, Bruno Canino, Luca Fanfoni, Rocco Filippini, Ovidiu Badila, Mirella Freni, Ferruccio Furlanetto, Placido Domingo, Renato Bruson, William Matteuzzi, Iano Tamar, Patrizia Ciofi, Annick Massis, Veronique Gens, Dimitra Theodossiou, Joseph Calleja, Renato Palumbo, José Cura, Leo Nucci, Marcello Viotti, Andrea Bacchetti and Gabriele Baldocci.

The history of the Dynamic label is strictly connected with Opera. For more than 20 years Dynamic has been collaborating with many important opera houses, recording and filming the most interesting titles, with a special attention to the great Italian repertoire.
Dynamic is also one of the first labels to have understood the importance and exploited the opportunities of DVD in the field of opera. Indeed, its catalogue includes more than a hundred titles, resulting from the collaboration with important theatres, among them Teatro La Fenice, Arena di Verona, Maggio Musicale fiorentino, Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro Regio di Torino, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Teatro Lirica di Cagliari, Liceu of Barcelona, Teatro Real of Madrid, Opéra Royal de Wallonie, and the Vlaamse Opera.
The policy of the Dynamic label is to rediscover unknown masterworks but also to offer new and original productions of the more popular titles. Among the many titles on offer you can find Massenet's Cherubin and Le Roi de Lahore, Rossini's Ermione and Gazza Ladra, Boito's Mefistofele, Haendel's Aci, Galatea e Polifemo, Schubert's Alfonso und Estrella with the prestigious direction of Luca Ronconi, Verdi's Luisa Miller and the brilliant Il Burbero di buon cuore by Martin y Solér, containing a beautiful and rare aria by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
