This song by "Gerry & the pacemakers" was released in 1963 and i believe it was their first number 1 hit here in the UK. A lot of people might not know this but when they first came out the band was called "Gerry Marsden and The Mars Bars" but after a complaint from the chocolate making company they changed their name.
