'The Unbending Chinese Tree' performed live at the HAVASI Symphonic Arena Show on the 21st of December, 2013.
HAVASI has a strong connection with China as his grandfather lived and worked there for many years as the representative for a Hungarian company and was a fluent Chinese speaker.
He collaborated with Chinese musicians to create an amazing concert showcasing the musical cultures of China and Europe. The concert - which drew 24,000 people in 24 hours - ranked #16 in the BILLBOARD TOP 100 for ticket sales worldwide — an utterly unique achievement in the modern classical genre.
He is one of the select band of performers who can fill stadiums and bring the joy of classical music to hundreds of millions more through television. HAVASI is a contemporary star who brings people and places together.
