This is a radio documentary of the History of Country Music. It was created in 1969, and I recently re-edited it all and upgraded the music. There are no complete songs, just samples to illustrate the dialog.

This is Chapter Two and covers The 40s ending with Whiting & Wakely's big hit "Slipping Around." I first heard the song on the radio when it was new by Floyd Tillman, who wrote it.
