About Kayda:
Born in 1991 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Kayda is considered as one of the leading leading female artists in the Malaysian Hip Hop and R&B scene. She grew up in a musical environment where her parents are one of the most respected musicians in Malaysia. Kayda started writing her own music at the age of 13 and performed at Hip Hop gigs during her teenage years.

In 2013, Kayda began to slowly build her own name as a recording artist and performed professionally in Malaysia, Singapore & Indonesia. Kayda was also nominated for Best New Artist at the Malaysian Hip Hop Awards December 2013.

In 2014, her first single “Down With Me” won Silver at the Voice International Music Awards (VIMA). Right after that, Kayda released a collaborative mixtape with Malaysian singer/rapper Hunny Madu titled ‘Go Hard Or Gostan’. Their first single hit #1 for four weeks straight on Hitz’s MET10 and it led them both to being invited to perform at the first Good Vibes Festival Malaysia alongside DangerDisko.

Kayda released her single AUTOPILOT in 2020. It’s an upbeat bilingual song that talks about her career and journey as a hiphop fan since her teenage days and as an artist for the past 8 years.

In 2021, “Galeri” was released, Kayda is featured in this upbeat song by award winning singer Nur Fatima. Recently, Kayda was invited to perform AUTOPILOT and Sinaran Remix with Dato Sheila Majid’s - In Person Concert with RTM.
