5 years have passed so quickly. Little India Riot is in the history books. It's December 2018. Back then, me, my son and hundreds of foreign workers were baton-charged by the riot police for staying to close to ground zero.
There are police notices everywhere, informing that Liquor cannot be consumed in public places nightly, on weekends and on Public holidays. Auxiliary police in bright yellow vests, made a very strong presence. Police cameras are positioned in various strategic areas. Open fields are brightly lit. Special Operations Command (Singapore'e elite force) is on standby every weekend since the riot.
2 very large sheltered bus pickup points were constructed for workers who stay in the West and North/North East. Boarding is orderly. Everything is under control. Peace.
By the way, this video also showcases 8 of the many beautiful Wall Mural Art pieces in Little India.
