Locomondo - Athens Theatro Petras 2011
Locomondo is one of the most known and successful bands in Greece. The 7-member band fronted by Markos Koumaris, the main songwriter and composer of the group, fuses Reggae, Ska and Caribbean sounds with Greek folklore melodies. The band had scenic collaborations with many artists such as Manu Chao, the Wailers, Alpha Blondy, Mad Professor among others. Lomondo always begins and ends their summer tours “at home” – in Athens – For their 2011 tour, the last gig takes place in on open-air theatre located in Petroupoli – a hill overlooking the Greek city. A perfect frame for a music trip between Greece and Jamaica.
