Singapore Marina Bay Countdown Fireworks 2018. We had 1 minute fireworks at 8, 9, 10 and 11pm. It started drizzling non-stop from 9pm. By midnight, the rain became really heavy but failed to dampen the spirits of people of all nationalities who thronged the Marina Bay Area.
This year, the fireworks were fired linearly, giving the best views to people on both the Marina Bay Sands and Fullerton sides of the Bay. It's a very good change. However, the fireworks quality has been downgraded severely. A huge amount of smoke was generated which overwhelmed the fireworks itself.
Note:
I've been asked year after year - why is the video uploaded on Dec 31 when New Year is on Jan 1? (fake video?)
Well, video is uploaded on Jan 1 in Singapore when it's still night on Dec 31 in California where YouTube is headquartered.
