Bio:
It all begins with a shared passion between a Father and a Son. In the 90s when the music program “Dance Machine” appears on French TV, John Castel, the Dad, quickly understands that electronic music will become his aspiration. He was 17 years old when he started to use a mixing deck but that’s only about 15 years later that he will start writing his own music. At that time he did not know that his son was secretly admiring his dad’s work. A bit later, the reverse situation happened when John discovered that his son Xan then 16 years old, had a unique talent for music. At 10 years old, Xan wanted to play the guitar and pretty quickly he differentiated himself from his other classmates. As years went by, he finally asked his dad to teach him mixing. After learning how to use the mixing console in only one afternoon, he wanted to learn how to write music. Thanks to his strong knowledge of solfege he was able to compose his own title in a few days provoking his dad’s eternal admiration and enthusiasm. As they have both realized their luck of sharing the same passion as a family, they both want to show the world that special bound that will forever bind them to each other.
