Yee Peng Festival 2016. Sky Lantern mass launch at Doi Saket, Chiang Mai for the 1st time. Held on 14 November 2016 - night of the 'Supermoon'. Location is an hour's drive from Chiangmai, up in the mountains.
The Doi Saket Village head addressed the participants before everyone trooped off to release the Krathongs in a nearby river. This was followed by 2 co-ordinated mass launches. Which wasn't very coordinated, as most participants were releasing the lanterns for the 1st time.
