Badaling Great Wall is the most visited Great Wall as it is the nearest wall to Beijing. Hiking here is like taking a walk on Singapore's Orchard Road on Christmas Eve. It's that crowded.
Entry fee is 40 RMB, optional slider ride is 60 RMB. The authorities are raking in tons of money here daily. You can see from the video that the section open to the public is pretty short. This wall is restored. There are metal railings installed on the steeper parts.
Oh how I miss the natural and 'wild' Great Walls.
