I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That was the first single from Elton’s 1988 album, Reg Strikes Back and was Elton’s biggest US hit of the 1980s.

The video was directed by Russell Mulcahy, who directed over 20 videos for Elton in the 1980s and ‘90s. Elton features heavily in the video, sometimes performing on a Roland RD-1000 keyboard, which he used on stage during his tours in the late ‘80s.
