Wrap Her Up (featuring George Michael) was the third single from Elton’s 1985 album Ice On Fire.
The video was directed by Russell Mulcahy, who inserted Elton into footage of female celebrities from the previous six decades, many of whom are mentioned in the song’s lyrics. These include Marilyn Monroe, Joan Collins, Marlene Dietrich and Brigitte Bardot.
Portions of the video also show Elton performing the song on stage with his 1985-86 World Tour band with special guest George Michael. At one point, Kiki Dee’s name is sung (by George) and in the video Elton surprises her with a pie in the face.
