Ein Konzert unter Leitung von Alain Altinoglu ganz im Geist von Georg Gershwin, dessen Musik stets eine so ganz eigene Lässigkeit durchklingen lässt. Dazu der Sound der hr-Bigband, die hier ganz selbstverständlich mit dem hr-Sinfonieorchester agiert – zwei Klangwelten vereint für Gershwin, zugleich aber auch für eine Uraufführung des Franzosen Thierry Escaich.

A concert conducted by Alain Altinoglu in the spirit of Georg Gershwin, whose music always has its own unique nonchalance. In addition, the sound of the Frankfurt Radio Big Band, which performs here quite naturally with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony – two worlds of sound united for Gershwin, but also for a world premiere by the French composer Thierry Escaich.
