Die deutsch-japanische Dirigentin Erina Yashima zu Gast beim hr-Sinfonieorchester mit einem Orchesterwerk des syrisch-amerikanischen Komponisten Kareem Roustom und der in dunklen Klängen schwelgenden »Winterträume«-Sinfonie Peter Tschaikowskys. Dazwischen präsentiert der aus Kanada gebürtige Cellist Bryan Cheng mit seinert Stradivari-Violoncello »Dubois« aus dem Jahr 1699 das 1. Cellokonzert von Camille Saint-Saëns.

The German-Japanese conductor Erina Yashima is a guest of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony with an orchestral work by the Syrian-American composer Kareem Roustom and the dark sounds of Peter Tchaikovsky's »Winter Dreams« Symphony. In between, Canadian-born cellist Bryan Cheng will perform Camille Saint-Saëns' Cello Concerto No. 1 on his Stradivarius violoncello »Dubois« from 1699.
