Playing bass guitar through a laptop system can be a useful (and at times extremely frustrating) endeavor for performing live electronic music. I break down how the band for electro pop artist Micky Blue uses their laptops so you can see what goes into performing this music.
It's a rewarding enterprise if you stick it out, but there are some things to keep in mind if you'd like do do one of these setups.
