This live debut of ‘Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters’ was recorded at London’s Royal Festival Hall in 1972, it was the first performance of Elton’s newly-recorded album Honky Château in its entirety.

Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters (Live from the Royal Festival Hall), comes from the 50th Anniversary reissue of Honky Château, the album that brought you Rocket Man.

Out now, formats include newly created selection of outtakes from the original session demos, and unseen photos & memorabilia from 1972 have been unearthed.

The expanded 2CD features live recordings from Royal Festival Hall, where the album made its live debut. Also available on 2LP and Limited Edition Gold LP.
