Constantin Moscovici was born on October 2, 1962, in the Republic of Moldova. Following graduation from his home village musical school, Constantin enrolled at the University of Fine Arts “G. Musicescu” in Chisinau.
He started his professional musical career in 1984 as a soloist in pop group “Legend”, conducted by Iurie Sadovnic. During that period, the band played its own ethno-folk-jazz music. At the same time, Moscovici tried his vocation as a solo pan-flutist in the State Philharmonic Orchestra.
Afterward, from 1987-1990, as a solo pan-flute player, he took part in the popular instruments music group conducted by Moldovan composer Anatolie Chiriac. Moscovici’s calling card at that time was the famous melody, “The Lonely Shepherd”, composed by James Last. Later (1995-1997) he performed as a solo player with a popular music band of five musicians working under the auspices of the National Palace of Moldova.
Moscovici’s mainstream success was boosted when he recorded his debut album, “Soul Confessions” (1995). Overall, Moscovici released 15 hit records, most of which are multi-platinum records in countries such as Turkey, Germany and Italy, just to mention a few.
Along with his artistic career, the artist organizes charity concerts for children, including those with disabilities. He is continuously invited to the most important international touristic and economic fairs to promote Moldovan culture. He is also well known as a manager, organizing and hosting concerts, multinational festivals and events, both in the Republic of Moldova and abroad.
He has performed all over the world, sharing stages with pop music giants such as as Sir Elton John, Giora Fiedman, Alessandro Safina and Jose Carreras.
