For his album Aranjuez, Thibaut Garcia created six guitar transcriptions of Baroque composer Robert de Visée's Pièces de théorbe et de luth, including the lively fifth movement, a rondeau entitled "La Montfermeil". Discover them all: https://w.lnk.to/araLY

Alongside these Baroque pieces, the program of Aranjuez integrates Alexandre Tansman’s Musique de cour (Court Music), which dates from 1960 but takes inspiration from De Visée, as well as solo works by Regino Sáinz de la Maza and, as the centerpiece, the Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquìn Rodrigo. Recorded with the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse and Ben Glassberg.
