"The Baroque source of Musique de cour is evident, since Tansman takes themes directly from the music of Robert de Visée and reorchestrates them in his own imaginative way," explains Thibaut Garcia. Enjoy this and other guitar works with his album Aranjuez: https://w.lnk.to/araLY

Recorded with the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse and Ben Glassberg, the album takes its title from the central work of its program: the magnificent Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquìn Rodrigo. This is paired with Tansman’s Musique de cour and works by Regino Sainz de la Maza and Robert de Visée. "This album pretty much sums me up," says Thibaut, who was born in France and has Spanish heritage.
