Mina - Ride like the wind

"Ride Like the Wind" è il singolo d'esordio di Christopher Cross nel febbraio 1980, vincitore di un Grammy per l'album omonimo album del suo debutto. Ha raggiunto il numero 2 nelle classifiche statunitensi.
Christopher Cross ha dedicato questa canzone a Lowell George , ex della band Little Feat , morto nel 1979.
Inciso da Mina nel 2000 per l'album promozionale "Mina per Wind". disco, che contiene quattro brani, tutti con la parola "wind" nel titolo, non fa parte della discografia di Mina e non è mai stato messo in commercio. È un cd speciale, creato nel 2000 per un'offerta Wind che consisteva in un pacchetto comprendente una scheda telefonica ed un CD in esclusiva. Un secondo cd Mina per Wind 2° volume è stato pubblicato nel 2002, ma non è mai stato inserito nella discografia ufficiale di Mina.
Alcuni brani sono confluiti come il presente nella raccolta "Cover" (2009) della serie di 5 CD "Riassunti d'amore".
