Devotees with their Kavadis and Chariots preparing for the 5 km walk to Sri Thendayuthapani Temple on Tank Road. Live music is finally allowed for the first time after 40 years. It should never have been banned as the atmosphere is so much livelier. The authorities did a great job in crowd control and traffic management.
